Job summary

Sydney Trains at Auburn Heavy Maintenance Centre (AHMC) is seeking a Permanent Full-Time Planning Analyst to develop and maintain maintenance plans aligned with operations and customer requirements. You will monitor performance through dashboards and ensure material availability and cost efficiency while working with Operations, Engineering and Supply Chain.

Experience in operations, maintenance or project environments.
Strong analytical, reporting and data analysis skills.
Proficiency in Advanced Excel, SAP MRP, engineering BOMs and task list analysis.
Ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
Confident communicator with stakeholder engagement and a commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain maintenance plans aligned with operational and customer needs, monitoring performance with dashboards.
Use data to support informed decisions and improve operations; coordinate with Operations, Engineering and Supply Chain for material availability and cost efficiency.
Support and cross-train schedulers, manage stakeholder communications, provide timely project updates, and ensure safety, quality and records are maintained.
Collaborate with the team to deliver project and operational outcomes.
