Heidelberg Materials Australia Pty Ltd in Mackay is seeking an Allocator/Batcher to support production schedules by allocating raw materials and operating batching plant control systems. You will monitor batching parameters, coordinate with multiple teams, and ensure accurate inventory and records.

Formación

• Experience in a manufacturing, production, batching or material handling environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced operational setting requiring careful planning and attention to detail.
• Comfort with computerised control systems and production software.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Proactive problem solving with good organisational skills.
• Commitment to workplace safety and following procedures.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to assist with minor troubleshooting.
• Experience in cement, concrete, quarrying or building materials is highly regarded but not essential.

Responsabilidades

• Execute daily allocation plans for raw materials (clinker, limestone, aggregates) to support production schedules.
• Operate batching plant control systems to measure and mix materials per specifications.
• Monitor and adjust batching parameters for product consistency and quality.
• Coordinate with production, maintenance and logistics to ensure timely deliveries.
• Conduct inventory checks and investigate discrepancies.
• Maintain records of material consumption, batches and stock movements.
• Perform routine equipment inspections, maintenance checks and calibrations.
• Identify and report equipment faults, quality issues and bottlenecks.
• Contribute to safety, efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives.
