Job summary

Heidelberg Materials Australia is seeking a reliable, safety-focused individual to join our Concrete Plant operations based out of Burleigh Heads. You will manage batching and loading for delivery to customers, engage with clients, and coordinate orders to meet quality standards.

This permanent full-time role requires willingness to work long hours, strong teamwork, and the ability to plan under pressure. Training will be provided for relevant equipment and processes.

Qualifications

• Customer service focus with a safety mindset.
• Willing to work long hours.
• Team player with multitasking and under-pressure decision skills.
• Problem solver with planning and troubleshooting abilities.
• Able to support individual customer requests.
• Contribute to Heidelberg Materials' overall performance.
• Concrete batching experience valued but not essential; training provided.
• Front End Loader and forklift ticket advantageous (can be gained in role).
• Pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening.

Responsibilities

• Manage batching and loading of Heidelberg Materials fleet for delivery to our valued customers
• Make decisions that impact the overall performance of the business
• Balance our customers’ needs and allocation of fleet through effective planning and decision making to ensure maximum fleet productivity, utilisation and efficiency
• Engage with customers and respond to enquiries
• Manage and monitor orders to ensure delivery and products meet quality requirements
