Job summary

Heidelberg Materials Australia is seeking a motivated operator to support Mackay production and batching operations. You will allocate raw materials, monitor batching processes and uphold safety and quality standards in a dynamic plant environment.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, perform routine inspections, and assist with minor maintenance tasks to ensure efficient operations and timely product delivery.

Qualifications

• Able to work in a manufacturing, batching or material handling environment.
• Capable of planning with attention to detail in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily allocation plans for raw materials including clinker and limestone.
• Operate batching plant control systems to mix materials per specs.
• Monitor batching parameters for consistency and quality.
• Coordinate with production, maintenance and logistics teams.
• Maintain records of material consumption and stock movements.
• Conduct routine equipment inspections and calibrations.
• Identify faults and report bottlenecks.
• Contribute to safety and continuous improvement initiatives.
