Heidelberg Materials Australia is seeking an Allocator/Batcher to support Mackay operations. You will allocate raw materials, operate batching plant controls, and ensure accurate production measurements and quality. Collaborative role requiring attention to detail and safe work practices.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing/production environments.
• Ability to work in fast-paced operations with attention to detail.
• Comfort using computerized control systems and production software.
• Strong communication and teamwork, proactive problem solving.
• Commitment to workplace safety and following procedures.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily allocation plans for raw materials (clinker, limestone, aggregates) to support production schedules and inventory needs.
• Operate batching plant control systems to measure and mix materials per specifications.
• Monitor and adjust batching parameters for product quality and consistency.
• Coordinate with production, maintenance and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and finished products.
• Conduct inventory checks and investigate discrepancies; maintain records of material usage and stock movements.
• Perform routine equipment inspections, maintenance checks and calibrations; report faults.
• Contribute to safety, efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives.
