Job summary

Heidelberg Materials Australia is seeking a motivated team player to join our Mackay operations. You will support production, batching, and material allocation to meet customer and operational requirements.

You will manage raw material allocation, operate batching control systems, monitor parameters for quality, and collaborate with production, maintenance and logistics to ensure timely delivery and accurate records. A strong focus on safety and continuous improvement is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, production, batching or material handling.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with strong planning and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with computerised control systems and production software.
• Strong communication and collaborative skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily allocation plans for raw materials to support production schedules.
• Operate batching plant control systems to measure and mix materials per specs.
• Monitor batching parameters for product consistency and quality.
• Coordinate with production, maintenance and logistics teams for material delivery.
• Conduct inventory checks and report discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate records of material usage and stock movements.
• Perform equipment inspections and minor troubleshooting as needed.
• Identify bottlenecks and contribute to safety and efficiency improvements.
