Employment Hero is seeking a Marketing Operations Specialist to architect and automate our Marketo-driven marketing engine in a remote-first environment. You will lead the transition from manual processes to AI-assisted automation, eliminating friction and building scalable, self-sustaining workflows that enhance operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience managing Marketing Automation Platforms (Marketo preferred) in a fast-paced B2B environment.
• AI-first mindset with the ability to build AI-driven workflows and agentic solutions.
• Strong knowledge of how data flows from initial touchpoint to Salesforce opportunity in a MarTech stack.

Responsibilities

• Platform Management & Support: manage day-to-day Marketo operations for uptime and scalable processes.
• Lead Investigations & Troubleshooting: diagnose funnel issues, routing, scoring, and syncs between Marketo and Salesforce.
• Operational & Campaign Optimisation: continuously optimize Marketo and apply AI to automate repetitive tasks.
• Cross-Functional Business Alignment: translate marketing and sales requirements into data constraints and technical solutions.
• System Overhaul & Simplification: collaborate on high-level projects to reduce technical debt and simplify the Marketo instance.
• List Operations Management: oversee List Operations with focus on data hygiene and segmentation.
• Ruthless Documentation: maintain up-to-date docs for systems and workflows.
