Symbiotic Presents in Australia is seeking a Marketing & Admin Coordinator to support our Director and Marketing Manager across marketing, content, event operations and day-to-day administration. This hands-on role touches many areas of the business and offers exposure to festival content planning, ticketing, budgets and travel logistics.

You are highly organised, creative and proactive with a love for social media, digital trends and storytelling.

• Basic Premiere Pro skills or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and executing TikTok and Instagram strategies across event brands.
• Plan, create and publish social media content that aligns with brands and audiences.
• Edit engaging short-form video content for social media (Reels and TikToks).
• Create and edit basic social media graphics using Photoshop, Canva or similar tools.
• Assist with development and design of event merchandise.
• Monitor social media performance and suggest improvements.
• Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to the Director.
• Assist with preparing budgets for upcoming events.
• Support event production coordination (creating, distributing, executing events).

About the role

We're looking for a Marketing & Admin Coordinator to support our Director and Marketing Manager across marketing, content, event operations and day-to-day administration. This is a dynamic, hands-on role that touches many areas of the business. One day you might be creating content for an upcoming festival, the next you could be coordinating ticketing, preparing an event brief or helping organise travel and logistics. It's an ideal role for someone who is highly organised, creative, proactive and excited to build a career within the music and events industry.

Key responsibilities

Assist in developing and executing TikTok and Instagram strategies across our event brands

Plan, create and publish social media content that aligns with our brands and connects with our audiences

Edit engaging short-form video content for social media, including Reels and TikToks

Create and edit basic social media graphics using Photoshop, Canva or similar platforms

Assist with the development and design of event merchandise

Monitor social media performance and contribute ideas to improve reach, engagement and content performance

Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to the Director

Assist with preparing budgets for upcoming events

Support event production coordination, including creating, distributing and executing events

About you

A genuine love for social media, digital trends and storytelling

A passion for dance music and the events industry

Strong organisational and time-management skills with excellent attention to detail

A proactive attitude and the confidence to take initiative

Basic Adobe Premiere Pro skills, or a strong willingness to learn
