Job summary

CSR Limited’s Bradford Insulation site in Scoresby, Victoria, seeks an experienced Manufacturing Manager to lead a 24/5 operation, focusing on safety, quality and production performance. You will develop high-performing teams and drive continuous improvement across the site.

This hands-on leadership role emphasizes Lean, 5S and CP to enhance reliability, efficiency and cost outcomes while building capability and engagement across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in manufacturing/production.
• Coach and develop cross-functional teams.
• Commitment to workplace safety and operational excellence.
• Experience driving Lean, CI, and 5S initiatives.
• Experience managing operational KPIs, productivity, and performance.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication.
• Exposure to unionised environments valued.
• Engineering/Manufacturing qualifications advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Champion Zero Harm culture and safety compliance.
• Lead site performance across production, service, delivery, productivity and cost.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing, 5S and CI to improve efficiency and performance.
• Develop, coach and mentor leaders and production teams.
• Manage operational planning, budgets, cost control and site metrics.
• Identify losses and implement improvements to equipment reliability.
• Build relationships with cross-functional teams (maintenance, engineering, operations).
• Support industrial relations outcomes within a unionised environment.
