Job summary

Etex Australia is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Leader to oversee a 24/5 operation, reporting to the Plant Manager. You will lead three production teams, foster collaboration, drive safety, and champion continuous improvement in a high-performing site.

You will apply Lean principles, improve quality and efficiency, partner with engineering and maintenance, and develop leadership capability across the site, shaping culture and operational excellence within a global organisation.

Qualifications

Experience in manufacturing, operations, or process industries.
Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management or related.
Proven leadership experience or strong desire to move into people leadership.
Exposure to continuous improvement, Lean Manufacturing or quality systems.
Strong problem-solving skills and decision-making in dynamic environments.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach and develop three production teams.
Champion a strong safety culture prioritising wellbeing.
Drive quality, productivity and continuous improvement across the site.
Apply Lean Manufacturing to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
Partner with engineering, maintenance and technical teams to implement solutions.
Build experience in strategic planning, project delivery and stakeholder engagement.
