Job summary

Clark Tanks, part of the Kingspan Group, is seeking a dynamic Manufacturing Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our polymer water tank facility, driving safety, quality and continuous improvement. Reporting to the General Manager, you will oversee production, maintenance and dispatch, lead supervisors and operators, and champion a strong safety culture while delivering on production targets.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management or a related discipline.
• Experience in manufacturing, polymer processing, rotational moulding or related industries.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of production planning, maintenance and operational performance.
• Demonstrated experience leading safety initiatives and fostering a strong safety culture.
• Sound understanding of WHS legislation and risk management practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capability
• Ability to influence change and build a culture of accountability
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Responsibilities

• Lead daily manufacturing operations to achieve production, quality and delivery targets
• Manage rotational moulding, assembly, finishing, storage and dispatch activities
• Optimise labour, equipment utilisation and plant capacity
• Monitor production performance, efficiency, downtime and waste reduction initiatives
• Collaborate with Supply Chain and Sales teams to ensure customer demand is met
• Lead, coach and develop a diverse manufacturing workforce
• Champion a strong safety-first culture across the factory
• Drive Lean Manufacturing and operational excellence initiatives

About the Role
