Job summary

BDO Australia is seeking a Manager – Methodology within the Audit & Assurance Quality team. You will lead the development and maintenance of the firm's audit methodology, policies and guidance, and support engagement teams with technical consultation.

The role focuses on quality frameworks, monitoring regulatory changes and creating practical templates and resources to improve consistency and compliance across audits. Strong collaboration with service lines and L&D is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in external audit gained from a reputable professional services firm.
• Strong knowledge of International Standards on Auditing and Assurance.
• Proven ability to drive quality initiatives and resources.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain audit methodology, policies and guidance.
• Provide technical consultations on methodology matters to engagement teams.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and support training Interventions.
