Job summary

BDO Australia is seeking a Manager – Methodology within the Audit & Assurance Quality (AAQ) function to lead the development, implementation and ongoing enhancement of audit methodology, policies and related tools. You will execute methodology projects, provide technical consultations and drive continuous improvement across the firm.

Working closely with engagement teams, AAQ and Learning & Development, you will help ensure consistent application of standards, foster quality and support

Qualifications

• Strong technical judgement and project management capability.
• Experience in audit quality initiatives and resources design.
• CA qualification or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and implement quality frameworks, methodologies, policies, guidance and tools for audit engagements.
• Monitor changes to standards and regulations and assess impact on methodologies.
• Create templates and guidance to promote consistency, scalability and compliance.
• Provide technical consultations on audit methodology matters.
• Collaborate with service lines and Learning & Development to identify capability gaps and risks.
• Contribute to strategic initiatives to enhance audit capabilities and reputation.
