Job summary

BDO is seeking a Manager – Methodology in Audit & Assurance Quality to lead development, maintenance and enhancement of audit methodology, policies and related tools. You will work with AAQ and engagement teams to apply requirements consistently and improve quality across audits.

You will drive continuous improvement, contribute to strategic initiatives and foster a culture of technical excellence and professional scepticism within the firm.

Qualifications

• Requires strong technical judgement and project-management capability.
• Experience with audit quality initiatives and resource design/facilitation.
• Ability to build relationships with stakeholders and to influence effectively.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and implement quality frameworks, methodologies, policies and tools.
• Lead or contribute to methodology projects with owned workstreams and deliverables.
• Monitor changes to professional standards and assess implications for methodologies.
• Create practical templates and guidance to promote consistency and compliance.
• Provide technical consultations on audit methodology matters to engagement teams.
