Job summary

BDO Australia is seeking a Manager – Methodology in our Audit Professional Practice Department to lead the development and enhancement of audit methodology, policies and guidance across engagements.

You will work with engagement teams and AAQ to apply standards consistently, develop practical templates, and support learning and development initiatives, driving quality and continuous improvement across the firm.

Qualifications

• Qualified external auditor with CA or equivalent.
• Experience in audit quality initiatives and methodology development.
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain audit methodology, policies and guidance.
• Support technical consultations and deliverables across engagement teams.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in audit processes.
• Collaborate with AAQ and service lines to address capability gaps.
