Job summary

Lightning HR PTY LTD on the Sunshine Coast is seeking an experienced Make Safe Team Leader to oversee the Make Safe function for insurance repairs. You will manage field teams, subcontractors and urgent works, ensuring safe, timely completion in line with insurer requirements.

Ideal applicants are highly organised with leadership experience, able to coordinate multiple jobs, coach team members and drive operational efficiency during busy periods.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a Make Safe or insurance repair team.
• Strong scheduling and prioritisation skills for urgent works.
• Proven ability to coordinate multiple trades and insurers.
• WHS compliance and safe work practices knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead, support and coordinate the Make Safe team.
• Schedule and allocate Make Safe jobs.
• Prioritise urgent works based on risk and insurer timeframes.
• Coordinate trades, restorers, field technicians and subcontractors.
• Monitor jobs from start to finish and handover.
• Liaise with insurers, loss adjusters, customers and internal teams.
• Review scopes, costs and contractor invoices.
• Ensure documentation and updates are completed.
