Job summary

Evolve Talent seeks an experienced Building Supervisor to manage a portfolio of insurance repair projects across the Sunshine Coast. You will coordinate trades, supervise site works and ensure completion to a high standard.

This hands-on role requires a trade background, QBCC licensing, strong customer communication, and the ability to work autonomously with on-site decision-making while engaging with insurers and customers.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in insurance repairs.
• A solid trade or construction background.
• Experience supervising building works and managing trades.
• A QBCC licence or relevant licensing experience.
• Strong knowledge of residential construction and repair.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple jobs.
• You must be able to work autonomously on site.
• Current driver's licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of insurance repair projects across the Sunshine Coast.
• Coordinate trades, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Attend sites and oversee works through to completion.
• Review scopes, identify variations and manage project requirements.
• Maintain regular communication with customers, insurers and assessors.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope and to a high standard.
• Manage customer expectations and resolve issues as they arise.
• Monitor workmanship, safety and compliance.
• Keep projects progressing and ensure accurate job documentation.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with trades and key stakeholders.
