Job summary

KONE is seeking a Major Projects Bid Manager to lead the full bid lifecycle for major projects across Australia and New Zealand. The role requires coordinating diverse teams, shaping value propositions, and ensuring compliant, competitive bids.

You will drive risk management, commercial strategy, and stakeholder engagement from opportunity qualification to contract award. The position is national, with preference for candidates based in Sydney, Melbourne, or Brisbane.

Qualifications

5+ years’ experience in a Bid Management role within the Construction Industry.
Experience working within the Vertical Transport Industry is advantageous.
A proven track record in winning multi-million-dollar (AUD) project opportunities.
An excellent project planner, experienced in cost planning, quality management and risk management.
Ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at an executive level (internal and external customers).

Responsibilities

Develop KONE’s position and customer base in the market.
Coordinate bid teams and inputs from multiple stakeholders (sales, engineering, marketing, finance, legal, operations).
Prepare and review the commercial aspects of the bid and final price.
Manage risk tracking and the bid Go/No-Go process.
Oversee the transition from contract award to project execution.
