Job summary

KONE is seeking a skilled Major Projects Bid Manager to lead bid lifecycles across Australia and New Zealand. The role requires coordinating cross-functional teams, shaping value propositions, and delivering competitive bids that align with risk and commercial objectives.

Based nationwide (Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane supported), you will manage budgets, Go/No-Go decisions, and handover to project delivery, ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction through all bid stages.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in a Bid Management role within the Construction Industry.
• Experience working within the Vertical Transport Industry is advantageous.
• Proven track record in winning multi-million AUD projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop KONE’s bid strategy and customer positioning.
• Coordinate bid teams and inputs from sales, engineering, marketing, finance and operations.
• Prepare and review the commercial aspects and final pricing of bids.
• Lead risk tracking and management throughout the bid process.
• Contribute to and manage the written proposal and management summary.
• Manage the Major Projects bid qualification Go/No-Go process.
• Oversee bid budget and cost plan.
• Ensure timely delivery of compliant, competitive bids.
• Arrange pre- and post-bid reviews with stakeholders and customers.
• Ensure seamless transition from contract award to project execution.
