Job summary

BMD Group is seeking an experienced Bid Lead to secure major infrastructure projects across NSW and the ACT. You will lead bids from early planning through submission, clarifications and handover, aligning estimating, engineering, commercial and delivery teams to develop competitive, deliverable solutions.

Reporting to the pre-contracts team, you will manage bid programmes, governance and stakeholder communications, drawing on civil infrastructure expertise and a track record of leading

Qualifications

• Experience with a Tier 1 or Tier 2 civil infrastructure contractor.
• Strong bid management knowledge (governance and approvals).
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and influence stakeholders.
• Sound construction, programming, estimating and commercial knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead expressions of interest, tenders and proposals.
• Develop bid strategies, win themes and value propositions.
• Establish bid programmes, governance and review milestones.
• Coordinate estimating, engineering, commercial and delivery teams.
• Manage compliance, risks, approvals and submission deadlines.
• Facilitate strategy workshops, reviews and client presentations.
• Maintain alignment between solution, programme, risk and price.
• Support tender clarifications and handover to delivery teams.
