Shoalhaven City Council seeks a skilled plant operator at the Bomaderry Works Depot to operate major plant items, perform maintenance, and support minor construction while following safety protocols.

The role requires working 38 hours per week (Mon–Fri) with a 9-day fortnight, being on-call, and completing overtime as needed. Applicants must hold a HR licence, traffic control cards, and a WHS Construction Card.

Qualificações

• Two years experience operating major plant such as backhoe, dozer/compactor, excavator, front end loader, tractor, grader, street sweeper, water tanker, garbage compactor or equivalent.
• Current RMS Traffic Control or SafeWork NSW Traffic Control Work Training Cards (Traffic controller) or willingness to obtain
• Current National WHS Construction Card (WorkCover)
• Proof of right to work in Australia.

Responsabilidades

• Operate major plant items (up to HR) and trucks.
• Use hand tools and machines; perform manual tasks.
• Maintain equipment and conduct basic repairs.
• Use operational software for reporting and task tracking.
• Ensure compliance with legislation and Council policies.
