Zusammenfassung

Shoalhaven City Council's Bomaderry Works Depot is seeking a Skilled Labourer to join the Central Construction team. The role involves hands-on construction and maintenance work, with a 38-hour week and a 9-day fortnight, located at Bomaderry Works Depot.

We require at least 12 months in civil construction or maintenance, NSW Class C Driver's Licence, White Card, and Australian residency. On-call overtime may be required, with opportunities for development and wrap-around benefits.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 12 months' experience in civil construction and/or maintenance activities.
• Current NSW Class C Driver's Licence.
• Current NSW General Construction Induction Card (White Card).
• Proof of Australian residency or citizenship.

Aufgaben

• Focus on ensuring the Nowra CBD is kept clean and free of litter and to respond to requests for the repair of defects.
• Undertake manual tasks including but not limited to shoveling, screeding, raking, digging, lifting and traffic control.
• Operate and maintain small plant items such as chainsaws, plate compactors, jack picks, concrete saws, electric power tools, vegetation trimmers, etc.
• To work under routine supervision and direction either individually or in a team environment on a range of projects
• Deliver quality workmanship in all tasks
• Complete standard paperwork such as timesheets and daily site safety checklists both handwritten and electronically.
• Any other tasks and activities within the construction/maintenance environment within the employees' abilities.
