Job summary

Valmet is seeking a Workshop Service Coordinator in Australia to support management of maintenance operations for the workshop and coordinate external service providers for the site. You will ensure safe, efficient operations and alignment with company strategies while safeguarding customer relationships.

You will contribute to continuous improvement in maintenance performance, supervise team competence, and utilise SAP for work management.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in a similar role.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• An understanding and commitment to OH&S.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• A working knowledge of computerised maintenance management systems.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of company strategies and targets defined by management.
• Maintain successful relationships between Valmet and the Customer.
• Manage team members' compliance relating to all HR and HSE initiatives.
• Oversee development of assigned team members, ensuring competence and efficiency.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance performance, including workshop and machine performance.
• Coordinate site external maintenance service providers.
• Review service provider contractual service agreements.
• Maintain and develop workshop operational standards, including 5S.
• Develop site equipment refurbishment standards and procedures.
• Ensure cost-effective utilization of spares and consumables.
• Manage assigned trades to improve utilization.
• Assist with maintenance shutdowns and outages.
• Participate in the On-Call System.
• Effectively manage assigned works using the CMMS system (SAP).
