Job summary

Green by Nature in Australia is seeking a Full-time, on-site Workshop Lead to base at the Porana, Northcote depot, overseeing maintenance for thousands of assets across depots. You will manage daily workshop capacity, allocate work and coach technicians, ensuring timely execution of planned maintenance and R&M activities.

You will lead the Service Admin, Service Engineers, Workshop Foreman and Mechanics, driving safety, quality and cost efficiency while following the Health and Safety at Work

Qualifications

• Experience foreshadowing day-to-day service performance and leadership of a workshop team.
• Proven ability to manage service/maintenance or workshop functions across sites.
• Safety-focused and able to drive compliance and improvements.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily workshop capacity, workflow, work allocation and housekeeping.
• Lead, coach and develop Service Admin, Service Engineer, Workshop Foreman and Mechanics.
• Own execution of planned and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Oversee R&M contract administration from quotation through invoicing.
• Approve quotations within delegated financial limits and escalate exceptions.
• Monitor workshop utilisation, technician productivity and asset availability.
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 and standards.
