Job summary

Wagga Wagga City Council’s Infrastructure Services team is seeking a Maintenance Works Programmer to develop and manage annual and forward maintenance programs for our transport and public infrastructure.

You will use asset condition, risk and operational data to prioritise works, lead Asset Officers, collaborate with engineering and finance, and help deliver safe, cost-effective, and sustainable outcomes for the community.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualifications in infrastructure, asset management, planning, project delivery or related discipline.
• Strong analytical, planning and stakeholder engagement abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain annual and forward maintenance programs across Council’s transport and public infrastructure.
• Use asset condition, risk and service levels to prioritise maintenance works.
• Coordinate programming with operational teams and support transition to capital renewal.
• Lead and support Asset Officers, allocating work and monitoring performance.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, finance and asset management teams to deliver cost-effective outcomes.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and asset lifecycle planning.
