Wagga Wagga City Council’s Infrastructure Services team is seeking a Maintenance Works Programmer to develop and manage annual and forward maintenance programs for our transport and public infrastructure.
You will use asset condition, risk and operational data to prioritise works, lead Asset Officers, collaborate with engineering and finance, and help deliver safe, cost-effective, and sustainable outcomes for the community.
Join Wagga Wagga City Council’s Infrastructure Services team and play an important role in planning and coordinating the maintenance of Council’s transport and public infrastructure assets.
As the Maintenance Works Programmer, you’ll develop and manage annual and forward maintenance programs, using asset condition, risk, service levels, inspection information and operational requirements to determine where maintenance activities are needed and how they should be prioritised.
You’ll work closely with engineering, operations, asset management and delivery teams to turn asset data and operational information into practical maintenance programs that support the safety, performance and long-term sustainability of Council’s infrastructure.
The role also provides leadership and supervision to Asset Officers, making this an opportunity to contribute to both the effective delivery of Council’s maintenance program and the development of a collaborative and accountable team.
If you enjoy working with data, solving problems, planning ahead and seeing your work translate into practical outcomes, this could be the opportunity for you.
