Job summary

Glencore Mount Isa Mines is seeking a Planner – Maintenance to develop and coordinate maintenance plans, delivering weekly SAP schedules and coordinating resources to optimise asset reliability at the Mount Isa site.

You will drive continuous improvement while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements in a large-scale mining environment, partnering with maintenance teams and supervisors on short-term delivery.

Qualifications

• Trade certificate or asset management qualification with maintenance planning experience.
• Experience with SAP or similar CMMS for maintenance planning.
• Knowledge of mining legislation, compliance, and maintenance work management processes.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Project to analyze maintenance data.

Responsibilities

• Deliver weekly SAP maintenance schedules for execution departments.
• Procurement of resources, parts and materials for scheduled work.
• Champion Maintenance Work Management and mentor team members.
• Support supervisors to achieve KPI targets and improve asset reliability.
• Custodian of SAP ensuring maintenance records are retained per standards.
