Job summary

Mount Isa Mines, part of Glencore Australia, is seeking a Planner – Maintenance to develop and coordinate maintenance plans that improve asset reliability and efficiency. The role collaborates with maintenance teams and supervisors to deliver short-term, compliant plans for a large-scale mining site in Mount Isa, QLD.

You will manage weekly schedules, allocate resources, and drive continuous improvement while ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, and operational targets are met.

Qualifications

• Trade certificate or equivalent in mechanical/electrical trades.
• Experience in maintenance planning and scheduling using a CMMS like SAP.
• Understanding of mining legislation, safety, and work management processes.
• Proficient in Excel/Word/Project for data analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of weekly maintenance schedules via SAP for maintenance execution departments.
• Procurement of resources, parts and materials to support scheduled work.
• Championing Maintenance Work Management processes and mentoring team members.
• Supporting supervisors to achieve KPI targets.
• Custodian of SAP maintenance records and compliance standards.
