Job summary

Chandler Macleod is seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner to join the maintenance team supporting a large-scale mineral sands operation in Western Australia. You will develop, coordinate and optimise maintenance plans and schedules to maximise equipment reliability and maintenance efficiency across the site.

Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, you will collaborate with operations, engineering and maintenance teams to minimise downtime, manage shutdowns, and ensure critical spare

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience using SAP S/4HANA Cloud in a maintenance planning environment.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Project.
• Experience planning maintenance activities within heavy industrial, mining, minerals processing, or resources environments.
• Strong organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to prioritise competing maintenance requirements in a dynamic operational setting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed maintenance plans and schedules for fixed plant assets.
• Coordinate planned shutdowns, preventative maintenance and statutory inspections.
• Manage maintenance work orders through SAP S/4HANA Cloud.
• Ensure labour, materials, tooling and contractor requirements are identified and available prior to scheduled works.
• Monitor work execution and provide schedule compliance reporting.
• Identify opportunities to improve maintenance strategies, equipment reliability and planning effectiveness.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering and maintenance teams to minimise downtime and optimise production outcomes.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and asset history.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across maintenance planning and execution activities.
