Job summary

EnerMech in the Gladstone region is seeking an experienced Planner/Scheduler to support major shutdowns, turnarounds, and maintenance campaigns in mining and heavy industrial operations.

You will develop, coordinate and optimise detailed schedules using Primavera P6, SAP or MS Project, coordinating labour, materials and equipment while working closely with maintenance and operations teams to deliver safe, cost-effective outcomes.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in maintenance planning and scheduling within mining, heavy industry, resources, energy, or manufacturing environments.
• Experience supporting shutdowns, turnarounds, or fixed plant maintenance projects.
• Strong understanding of maintenance work management systems.
• Experience using Primavera P6, SAP, MS Project, or similar planning software.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Current Australian Driver's Licence.

Responsibilities

• Developing detailed shutdown and maintenance work packs.
• Creating and maintaining project schedules using Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or SAP.
• Coordinating labour, materials, tooling, and equipment requirements.
• Working closely with maintenance, operations, and project teams.
• Monitoring schedule performance and identifying critical path activities.
• Producing progress reports, forecasts, and resource plans.
• Supporting budgeting, estimating, and maintenance planning activities.
• Driving continuous improvement in planning and scheduling processes.
