Job summary

Focus Minerals is seeking an experienced Senior Maintenance Planner to lead planning and scheduling for fixed plant processing on a 2/2 roster from Perth. You will drive asset availability and reliability while managing budgets and contractor work.

The role requires a Diploma/ Degree in Engineering or related field (or trade), plus 10+ years in mining maintenance with 5+ years in a senior role. Strong CMMS and safety ethos are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• Trade qualification in mechanical/electrical disciplines.
• Frontline management or supervisory qualification (desirable).
• Minimum 10 years in fixed plant/mining maintenance environments, with 5+ years in a senior planning/leadership role.
• Experience developing maintenance plans for crushing, grinding, processing and fixed plant assets.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimise maintenance plans, schedules, and shutdown programs.
• Manage asset master data, maintenance strategies, BOMs, and work management systems.
• Ensure plans and resources are current and aligned with priorities.
• Monitor schedule compliance, backlog, and labour utilisation; implement corrective actions.
• Support asset reliability, condition monitoring and lifecycle initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with WHS Mines Regulations 2022 and other standards.
• Coordinate budgets, contractor performance, and material requirements.
• Champion continuous improvement in maintenance planning and reporting.

Education

Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Maintenance Management, Asset Management, Business Management, or related discipline

Trade Qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline

Frontline Management/Leadership qualification

Driver's Licence (C Class)
