Job summary

Casella Family Brands, based in Yenda, NSW, is seeking a full-time Maintenance Fitter/Mechanic to join our Maintenance Department. You'll work with state-of-the-art equipment on a Monday to Friday roster with competitive remuneration and full uniform supplied.

Your duties include routine safety checks, preventative maintenance, and overhauls to ensure winery facilities perform at peak. We offer a supportive, dynamic team and opportunities during Vintage; a pre-employment medical is required.

Qualifications

• Trade certificate as a Maintenance Fitter or Mechanic.
• Forklift Licence preferred.
• Drivers Licence required.
• Proficiency with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Strong organisation and time management.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely and effectively maintain a variety of equipment and machinery.
• Adhere to company work health and safety procedures.
• Carry out maintenance activities as directed.
• Complete allocated tasks efficiently and to a high standard.
• Report issues to the Maintenance Supervisor or Manager, including quality, safety and machine reliability.
• Ensure high quality engineering on all mechanical tasks.
• Work shifts and weekends during Vintage as required.

About the role:

Your duties will include routine safety checks, preventative maintenance, and overhaulsto ensure that our winery facilities operate at maximum performance at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely and effectively maintain a variety of equipment and machinery
• Adhere to company work health and safety procedures
• Carry out all maintenance activities as directed
• Complete allocated tasks efficiently and to a high standard
• Report any issues that may arise when performing work duties to the Maintenance Supervisor or Manager. This includes quality, safety and machine reliability or performance issues
• Ensuring a high quality of engineering on all mechanical tasks
• Ability to work shifts and weekends when required during Vintage

Essential Qualifications & Skills:

• Trade certificate as a Maintenance Fitter or Mechanic
• Forklift Licence, EWP (desired, but not essential)
• Drivers Licence
• Working within Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Organisation & time management skills
• Communication skills
