Core Talent Pty Ltd presents an opportunity for qualified Maintenance Electricians or Fitters to join a leading FMCG manufacturer on permanent afternoons or nights in Berkeley Vale, Central Coast. Responsibilities

Maintenance Technicians (Fitter or Electricians) – FMCG Manufacturing

Central Coast – Berkeley Vale

$100k + shift loadings + $110 per week in allowances ($5,720 per year)

Graded Payrise System

Afternoons Monday to Friday 2pm - 10pm - 15% shift loading or Nights – Sunday to Thursday, 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM - 30% shift loading

This is a great opportunity for a qualified Maintenance Electrician or Maintenance Fitter to join a supportive and safety-focused Maintenance & Reliability team on a permanent afternoon or night shift.

About the Role

You’ll be responsible for maintaining, repairing and improving plant and production equipment in a fast-paced FMCG environment. Working as part of the maintenance team, you’ll use your electrical and/or mechanical skills to minimise downtime, respond to breakdowns and support the reliability of the site.

What You’ll Do

• Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on production, processing and packaging equipment
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and/or mechanical faults
• Carry out repairs, servicing, installations and equipment upgrades
• Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives
• Assist with fault finding and troubleshooting of PLC and automated equipment
• Read and interpret electrical, mechanical and engineering drawings
• Maintain accurate maintenance records using the CMMS system
• Work safely and collaboratively with production and maintenance teams
• Support a strong preventative maintenance and reliability culture

What You’ll Bring

• Electrical or Mechanical/Fitting Trade qualification
• Previous experience in FMCG, food manufacturing or industrial manufacturing preferred
• Strong electrical and/or mechanical fault-finding skills
• Experience with industrial production and packaging machinery
• PLC troubleshooting experience highly regarded for Electricians and Fitters
• Ability to read and interpret relevant electrical, mechanical and engineering drawings
• A hands-on approach with strong problem-solving skills
• Reliable, safety-focused and a strong team player

Pay & Benefits

• $100k base salary (pay rises easily obtained)+ shift loadings
• $110 per week in allowances
• 15% afternoon shift loading
