Job summary

Nobul Recruitment is assisting a well established FMCG/food manufacturer in Sydney's Inner Western suburbs to hire experienced Maintenance Fitters. You will maintain production machinery, respond to breakdowns and ensure equipment operates safely and reliably through the night shift.

These permanent, full-time roles are available across Parramatta and Blacktown. Night shift is 10:30pm–6:30am, with hourly rates of AUD 65–68 plus overtime and penalties, long-term career opportunities, modern

Qualifications

• Trade certificate in Mechanical Fitter and relevant industrial maintenance experience.
• Experience in FMCG/food manufacturing environments.
• Strong fault finding and breakdown maintenance skills.
• Experience with hydraulics/pneumatics, conveyors and drive systems.
• Comfortable with night shift and autonomous work.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical breakdown response, fault finding and repairs
• Carrying out preventative and scheduled maintenance
• Maintaining production machinery, conveyors and automated equipment
• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults
• Working with hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, gearboxes and drive systems
• Welding, fabrication and machining where required
• Supporting continuous improvement and plant reliability initiatives

Seeking experienced Maintenance Fitters to join a well established FMCG / food manufacturer operations in Sydney's Inner Western suburbs.

The Role

Working as part of an established maintenance team, you'll be responsible for maintaining production machinery, responding to breakdowns and ensuring equipment operates safely and reliably throughout the night shift.

About You

• Strong mechanical fault-finding and breakdown maintenance capabilities
• Experience maintaining production machinery and industrial equipment
• Good understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a maintenance team
• Welding and fabrication experience highly regarded
• Comfortable working permanent night shift hours
