Job summary

AustCorp Executive is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Fitter to join our established food manufacturing site in Sydney. You will perform preventative maintenance, respond to breakdowns and help minimise downtime across production equipment, ensuring safe and efficient operation.

The ideal candidate is trade-qualified, with experience in manufacturing or industrial environments, and strong fault-finding skills working with automated production machinery.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative and condition-based maintenance across food processing machinery and production equipment.

• Identify recurring equipment issues and contribute to root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Inspect machinery and assess equipment condition to identify potential maintenance requirements before failures occur.
• Work closely with production and maintenance teams to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.

Maintenance Fitter – Food Manufacturing

Pay Rate: $55 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday – Day Shift

The Opportunity We’re looking for an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join a well-established food manufacturing operation in Sydney. This is a great opportunity to join a busy production environment where reliability, teamwork and quality are at the heart of everything the site does.

You’ll play a key role in keeping production equipment running safely and efficiently, carrying out preventative maintenance, responding to breakdowns and helping minimise downtime across the factory.

If you’re a hands-on fitter who enjoys fault-finding, problem-solving and working with automated production equipment, this could be the opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities

Highly regarded: EWP, Confined Space and Forklift licences.
