Job summary

Morson Edge is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Fitter to join a newly built drinks manufacturing site in Rooty Hill. This hands-on role focuses on keeping production running with planned and reactive maintenance, helping shape maintenance standards for a modern facility.

You will work a Monday-Friday roster with nights and afternoons as required, gaining exposure to state-of-the-art equipment and a clear path for career growth. Safety and quality are top priorities for the team.

Qualifications

• Trade qualified Mechanical Fitter with hands-on maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Experience with conveyors, pumps and automated equipment is desirable.
• FMCG, food or beverage manufacturing background is highly regarded.
• Reliable, proactive and a strong team player.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on production equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical faults efficiently.
• Support installation and commissioning of new machinery.
• Work closely with production to minimise downtime.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain a strong focus on safety and quality.

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Mechanical Maintenance Fitter to join a newly built drinks manufacturing site in Rooty Hill. This is your chance to be part of a modern, high-tech facility from day one, working with new equipment and helping shape maintenance standards and processes.

• Up to $60ph + Shift Loading (30% nights, 15% Afternoons)
• Monday-Friday roster - no weekends, Afternoon Shift for majority of the year.

The Role
