Job summary

Food Manufacturing in Brisbane is seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter for a permanent night shift roster. You will perform preventative and breakdown maintenance across production machinery, keep conveyors and pumps running, and work closely with the production team to improve reliability.

The role offers a competitive salary of AUD 125,000 plus super, a 7-day fortnight roster, and long-term stability within a well-established food manufacturing operation.

Qualifications

• Trade-qualified mechanical fitter with required certs.
• Experience in food/FMCG manufacturing is preferred.
• Strong preventive and breakdown maintenance skills.
• Ability to work autonomously on night shift and follow safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventative and breakdown maintenance on production machinery.
• Troubleshoot mechanical faults to minimise downtime.
• Maintain conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, motors and processing equipment.
• Complete inspections, repairs and servicing of equipment.
• Collaborate with production teams to improve equipment reliability.
