Job summary

Kennards Hire on the Gold Coast is seeking a Maintenance Controller to oversee the branch workshop, manage servicing and repairs of hire equipment, and coordinate PMP services. You’ll support other branches and help ensure equipment is ready for hire.

The role requires 3+ years in a similar field, a valid driver’s licence, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities while delivering high service levels. Kennards Hire offers strong benefits and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in a similar role with strong equipment maintenance and servicing
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work well both in a team and autonomously
• Excellent time management and ability to plan ahead and adjust schedules
• Valid Driver's licence

Responsibilities

• Oversee branch workshop operations and service/repair equipment to Kennards’ Ready for Hire standards
• Coordinate Preventative Maintenance Program (PMP) services and allocate tasks to service staff
• Support other branches with equipment utilisation and repair as needed
• Perform branch facilities cleaning and maintenance as required
• Complete pickups/deliveries and assist with loading/unloading of equipment
• Be available to work weekends on a rotating roster
