Job summary

Kennards Hire is seeking a Maintenance Controller in Mona Vale to oversee the branch workshop and ensure high-quality maintenance and repair of small motor powered equipment. The role supports other branches, coordinates parts and services, and manages daily tasks within the workshop.

You will be responsible for servicing, repairs, and documentation to Kennards Ready for Hire standards, while maintaining efficient workshop operations and scheduling.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role or field with a proven track record of strong equipment maintenance and servicing.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work both in a team and independently to meet timelines.
• Time management skills and ability to plan ahead and reschedule priorities.
• A valid Driver's license is required for this role.
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn new systems quickly.

Responsibilities

• Oversee servicing and repairs of hire equipment to Kennards Ready for Hire quality standards.
• Coordinate Preventative Maintenance Program (PMP) services and parts orders; allocate tasks for service personnel.
• Support other branches in equipment utilisation and repair between branches as required.
• Perform branch facilities cleaning and maintenance as needed.
• Complete tasks as requested by Branch Manager/Assistant Manager/Duty Manager or Area Manager.
• Handle pickup/delivery and loading/unloading of equipment.
