Job summary

Donohoe Pastoral Co operates properties across Southwest Queensland between Augathella, Blackall, Charleville and Morven. The role requires operating a range of heavy machinery on earthworks, road maintenance, seasonal work and general station improvements.

You will work across properties with a roster to suit the right applicant, accommodation provided, and potential for upskilling within a growing family business.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating heavy machinery across multiple sites.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a small team with a solid work ethic.
• Clean, tidy and professional presentation with attention to detail.
• Valid driver's licence and willingness to obtain additional licences or certifications.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy machinery including bulldozers (D7E or similar), wheel loaders (962K), graders (12H) and other small plant.
• Work on earthworks and road maintenance.
• Undertake seasonal work and general station improvements.
• Adhere to all safety protocols to protect yourself, colleagues, livestock, and assets.

Job description

You will work across properties between Augathella, Blackall, Charleville and Morven operating a range of heavy plant on earthworks, road maintenance, seasonal work and general station improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Operate heavy machinery including bulldozers (D7E or similar), wheel loaders (962K), graders (12H) and other small plant
• Work on earthworks and road maintenance
• Undertake seasonal work and general station improvements
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to protect yourself, colleagues, livestock, and assets
