Job summary

Northern Tablelands Earthmoving is seeking a Multi-skilled Plant Operator to support rural and civil earthmoving projects in the Armidale/Guyra NSW Region. This casual role may become permanent for the right candidate, handling heavy machinery and daily upkeep of equipment.

Key responsibilities include operating Dozers and Excavators, conducting pre-start checks, and maintaining logs. Strong safety adherence and team work are essential.

Qualifications

• Candidate with proven experience operating plant machinery in rural and civil works.
• Strong safety conscience and ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate Dozers, Excavators and other plant equipment as required.
• Perform daily pre-start checks and record machine usage.
• Maintain and wash/grease machinery and perform minor maintenance.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures.

About the role

Northern Tablelands Earthmoving is seeking a Multi-skilled Plant Operator, to play a crucial role in the company's rural and civil earthmoving projects. This is a casual position based in the Armidale/Guyra NSW Region with the possibility of becoming a permanent role for the right operator. You will operate a range of heavy machinery and equipment on rural and civil jobs to support the earthmoving business.

Key Responsibilities

• Plant Operator - Operating mainly Dozer's, Excavators with any other plant experience highly regarded
• Conduct daily Pre-Start checks, maintaining accurate logs and documentation of machine usage
• Take ownership of machinery including, washing, greasing, minor maintenance and daily upkeep of machinery
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as an Plant Machinery Operator in rural and civil works
• Proficiency in operating and maintaining machinesStrong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions, as well as working independently
• Strong level of customer service
• Basic Mechanical Knowledge
• Current driver's licenceand white card - Required
• Resume and References - Required
