Job summary

Metroll Dubbo is seeking a reliable and motivated Machine Operator to join our Dubbo team. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will operate machinery to manufacture metal building products to customer specifications and support warehouse, packing and dispatch activities.

Your duties include setting up and programming machines, handling materials, measuring, cutting, packing and labeling, using a forklift, checking orders and recording production data, and maintaining a clean, safe

Qualifications

• Reliable, hardworking and willing to work
• Current forklift licence and proven forklift operating experience – essential
• Previous experience in machine operation, manufacturing, production or warehousing

Responsibilities

• Operate and program machinery to manufacture products to customer specifications
• Handle and move raw materials and finished products safely
• Measure, cut, bundle, package and label finished products
• Use a forklift to load, unload, stack and retrieve materials and customer orders
• Check orders and goods for accuracy and record production/stock information
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe work environment
• Support stock control, stocktakes and general branch operations
• Report production faults, damaged goods, incidents, hazards and safety concerns promptly
• Provide helpful and professional service to customers and support the wider team
