Job summary

Metroll Qld Pty Ltd is seeking a reliable Machine Operator to join our Bundaberg team. The role covers operating machinery to manufacture metal building products to customer specs, with duties in warehouse support, packing and dispatch.

You will report to the Branch Supervisor, work across early shifts (4:00am-12:00pm, 6:00am-2:00pm or 8:00am-4:00pm) and use a forklift. A current forklift licence is essential, and a can-do attitude is valued. Applicants must be proactive and safety-focused.

Qualifications

• Reliable, hardworking and willing to learn.
• Current forklift licence and forklift operating experience - essential.
• Previous experience in machine operation, manufacturing, production, warehousing or a similar hands-on environment.

Responsibilities

• Operating and programming machinery to manufacture products to customer specifications
• Selecting, handling and moving raw materials and finished products safely
• Measuring, cutting, bundling, packaging and labelling finished products
• Using a forklift to load, unload, stack and retrieve materials and customer orders
• Checking orders and goods for accuracy and recording relevant production and stock information
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work environment
• Supporting stock control, stocktakes and general branch operations
• Reporting production faults, damaged goods, incidents, hazards and safety concerns promptly
• Providing helpful and professional service to customers and supporting the wider team as required
