Job summary

Metroll Qld Pty Ltd in Bundaberg is seeking a reliable Machine Operator to operate and program production machinery for metal building products. The role supports warehouse, packing and dispatch tasks to ensure smooth branch operations.

The successful candidate will hold a current forklift licence, have hands-on experience in manufacturing or warehousing, and demonstrate a strong commitment to health and safety while working across various shifts.

Qualifications

• Forklift licence required and forklift experience essential.
• Experience in machine operation, manufacturing, warehousing or similar hands-on environment.
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Operate and program machinery to manufacture metal building products to specs.
• Move raw materials and finished goods safely.
• Measure, cut, bundle, package and label finished products.
• Use a forklift for loading/unloading and stock handling.
• Check orders and record production/stock information.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Support stock control and general branch operations.
• Report faults, damage, hazards and safety concerns promptly.
