Job summary

Newcastle, NSW-based steel manufacturing company is seeking Production Machine Operators to join their team. You will operate and monitor production machinery, set up and adjust machines, load and unload materials, and perform basic quality checks for dispatch.

Role requires good physical fitness and a strong mechanical aptitude. Training will be provided, and a current Forklift Licence plus ability to pass medical and drug/alcohol screening are required. Shift options available.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for applicants with experience or interest in operating production machinery within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Operating and monitoring production machinery
• Setting up and adjusting machines to meet production requirements
• Loading and unloading materials
• Forklift operation
• Quality checks and basic machine troubleshooting
• Packaging and preparing finished products for dispatch

Shift options available

• Rotating Day & Night shifts
• Fixed Day, Afternoon, or Night shifts (depending on operational requirements)

These roles require good physical fitness and strong mechanical aptitude. Previous experience in manufacturing or machinery operation is highly regarded but not essential, as full training will be provided.
