Job summary

Makibe Australia Pty Ltd in Minto NSW is seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. This full-time role supports daily production, ensuring quality output and compliance with health and safety standards.

You will load/unload materials, document production data, report malfunctions and work with the team to meet daily targets. Forklift licence is an advantage; training and development opportunities are provided.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team at our Minto NSW facility. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in our daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Loading and unloading raw materials and finished products as required
• Maintaining a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety standards
• Documenting production data, including material usage, machine downtime, and quality issues
• Identifying and reporting equipment malfunctions or operational concerns to supervisors
• Working collaboratively with the production team to meet daily and weekly targets

• Proven experience operating manufacturing machinery in a production environment
• Strong understanding of health and safety protocols and a commitment to maintaining a safe workplace
• Good attention to detail with an ability to produce consistent, quality output
• Capability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
• Reliability and punctuality with a professional approach to work
• Physical capability to perform manual tasks and operate in a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of process lines
• Forklift Licence an advantage but not essential
