Job summary

Metroll Toowoomba is seeking reliable Machine Operators to join our operations team. This hands-on role involves operating roll forming machinery, following production schedules and helping to produce high-quality steel building products.

We offer options for part-time 4-hour shifts or full-time afternoon/evening shifts with a 15% shift loading. Forklift and crane experience are advantageous, and training can be provided for the right person.

Qualifications

• Experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to follow production schedules and set priorities.
• Good time management and attention to detail.
• Willing to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Forklift license is advantageous but not required.
• Crane experience or ticket is advantageous but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate roll forming and production machines.
• Follow production schedules and meet deadlines.
• Perform pre-start checks and assist in equipment maintenance.
• Strap and prepare products for transport.
• Use overhead cranes and forklifts to load materials.
• Ensure products meet quality and safety standards.
• Maintain a safe, clean and efficient work environment.
