Job summary

RPR Trades is seeking reliable Machine Operators and Production Workers to join a busy manufacturing facility in Carbrook, Queensland. You will be involved in manufacture, processing, mixing and bagging construction products such as concrete, mortars, sands and cement-based goods.

Shifts include day and afternoon; you will operate and monitor machinery, perform weighing and measures, load materials, and maintain safety and quality procedures. Forklift experience is a plus but not essential.

Qualifications

• Experience operating and monitoring production machinery.
• Experience mixing, batching concrete, sand and cement products.
• Ability to load/unload materials and perform bagging/packing.
• Commitment to safety and quality procedures.
• Able to work as part of a team on day or afternoon shifts.

Responsibilities

Our client is a well-established Australian manufacturer operating a busy production facility in Carbrook, producing a range of quality construction and building products including concrete, mortars, sands and other cement-based products.

We are currently seeking reliable and safety-focused Machine Operators / Production Workers to join the team across day and afternoon shifts.

The Role

Working as part of a production team, you will be involved in the manufacture, processing, mixing and bagging of construction products.

Your duties may include:

• Operating and monitoring production machinery


• Mixing and batching concrete, sand and cement-based products


• Operating bagging and packing equipment


• Loading and unloading materials


• Weighing, measuring and checking products


• Palletising and preparing finished products


• Performing general production and housekeeping duties


• Following quality control and production procedures


• Working safely around machinery, materials and mobile equipment


• Manual handling and repetitive tasks as required

About You

We are looking for people who are:

• Reliable, punctual and committed to their work


• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling


• Comfortable working around machinery and in a manufacturing environment


• Safety-conscious with a strong work ethic


• Able to follow instructions and production procedures


• Comfortable working as part of a team


• Previous manufacturing, production, machine operating or construction experience is highly regarded

A current forklift licence is not essential, but would be a definite advantage.
