Job summary

Four Seasons Hotel Sydney is seeking a Hotel Manager to lead our luxury property, guiding senior operations and driving exceptional guest experiences. This role requires an authentic, strategic leader who can mentor a large team and uphold the brand’s high standards.

You will oversee Rooms, F&B, Engineering and Security, maintaining strong financial performance while ensuring service excellence and a culture of engagement across 400 colleagues.

Qualifications

• Experience in a senior operational leadership role within a luxury hotel or resort.
• Authentic, engaging and strategic leadership style.
• Strong financial acumen with budgets, P&L, forecasts.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise the Director of Rooms, Food & Beverage, Engineering, and Security operations.
• Provide exceptional personal presence, highly engaged in day-to-day operation and directing priorities.
• Drive Employee Engagement strategies and promote a positive culture for 400 colleagues.
• Lead, coach and mentor managers to support their success and development.
• Oversee the guest experience, ensuring service quality and consistency across metrics.
• Proactively review hotel products, services and procedures to evolve the offering.
• Execute global programs, initiatives and projects, as assigned globally.
• Manage key financial metrics including expenses and profitability to meet budget.
• Stakeholder management with ownership, external suppliers and internal teams.
• Assume the General Manager’s responsibilities in their absence, maintaining strong owner relations.
