Job summary

Silk Hospitality is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead high-performing teams in a Sydney luxury hotel. You will drive daily operations, coach staff, and uphold elevated cleanliness and service standards across guest rooms and public areas.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage a rotating roster, including weekends and holidays. Residency in Australia is required for this position.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of continuous supervisory experience in a luxury 5-star hotel, or 2+ years in a high-volume 4-star hotel environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily housekeeping operations
• Conduct detailed room inspections and quality audits
• Manage VIP arrivals, special requests, and guest recovery situations
• Train, mentor, and develop Room Attendants to achieve high performance
• Allocate room assignments and manage daily workforce planning
• Monitor productivity, including performance metrics and targets
